Clay Griffith
Co-Founder & PresidentClay is co-founder and President of Holocene Drilling. His areas of expertise include auger, mud rotary, coring, sonic and direct push drilling techniques. He is experienced with the drilling and installation of soil borings, monitoring wells, vapor extraction wells, air sparge wells, well development and well decommissioning. He has over 30 years of dewatering, geotechnical and environmental drilling experience and is also directly responsible for building Holocene Drilling into the safe and responsive drilling company it is today.
Jon Root
Project ManagerJon has ten years of experience in the Geotechnical and Environmental industry and is Holocene’s Geotechnical Division Project Manager. He oversees both the client interface and operations and is responsible for all project management and operations functions for our auger, mud rotary and rock coring crews.
Anisa Harnden
Project ManagerAnisa is a Washington State Geologist and Licensed Resource Protection Driller. Anisa and Don Harnden, formerly of ESN bring their 25+ years of direct push and remediation experience to assist you with any Phase II or Phase III projects throughout Washington and Oregon.

Safety, Marketing, Regulatory ComplianceJohn is a registered, professional Geologist with over 25 years of experience in the drilling, consultant and exploration industries. He is responsible for health & safety programs, site inspections, regulatory compliance, sales and marketing.

Administrative LeadDonna has been a key part of Holocene Drilling since the beginning. She is the calm voice you hear working out job details, start times and final job locations. She is an indispensable team member wearing many hats throughout the day.

Administrative AssistantAlyssa is a key member of the Holocene office staff. She is the helpful voice you hear when you call in. Alyssa works in the background to process all the Department of Ecology documentation, Start cards, refunds and finalizes all job set ups. Like all small offices, Alyssa performs many duties and is an indispensable member of the team.
